You all may know me as The Braid Goat, The Loctician. Braider. Natural Hairstylist. When actuality, I'm just a girl. I graduated Magna cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelors of Science, Biology in 2022. I started doing hair as "Aiyanna's hair" back in 2012 at the ripe age of 11. Before then, I did hair for family and fun since before I could remember. Learning hair through the thousands of heads I have touched has been the best teacher I could have had. This blog was created to discuss hair in all it's glory and ANY topic... yes including the controversial ones...surrounding it. This blog is a SAFE space where all opinions matters and it's okay to disagree. Also no one question is a dumb one. We are on the journey of "Black Girl Hair" together. I will start with a random fact. Hair tells a lot about health. It is an accessory organ! Learning about you hair and scalp can also help you understand other problem going on in your body. One question I have is, why is alopecia a genetic things or is it considered a genetic disorder?
